I currently serve on the boards of Living Free Health & Fitness, Soroptimist International Pahrump Valley, The Butterfly Effect and Chair the Nevada Child Justice Act Taskforce.
I attend community meetings held the fourth Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM at the Salvation Army.

When taking office, I look forward to holding public opportunities to meet with all of you!! I intend to hold "Coffee, Cookies & Community" events throughout Nye County for a chance to share ideas about how our communities can be improved and the public needs and opinions!
about me
I became a resident of Nye County when my family and I moved to Pahrump in 2002. We were fortunate to find the perfect property and move here with two elementary-school aged boys and a desire to make this home! Twenty-one years later, this is my home! From the largest vineyard in the Pahrump Valley to 9 grandchildren, my roots are here. When asked recently, "If you could live anywhere, where would it be?", I answered, "I can live anywhere and choose to live HERE".
I am honored to be a part of serving this community. I have many years of leadership positions including the Pahrump Valley Chamber of Commerce and Nevada Outreach Training Organization, along with multiple non-profit boards and committees. I understand the issues that face our community and have shown my commitment to this community and my neighbors through service and dedication. I currently serve on the Southwest Central Economic Development Authority Board of Directors, the board for Living Free Health & Fitness and the board of Soroptimist International Pahrump Valley. I am currently the Chair of the Nevada Child Justice Act Taskforce, a committee dedicated to the children of Nevada.
I have previously served on the board of NyE Communities Coalition, the Pahrump Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Juvenile Probation Committee, along with the Pahrump Valley Transportation Committee championing for public transportation here in Pahrump, the Community Crisis Intervention Committee and the Affordable Housing Subcommittee.
I have learned to speak less and listen more to the concerns of our community and to work together to meet our communities' needs while keeping government intervention at a minimum. Cooperation and collaboration among local government, non-profits and concerned citizens have served us well over the past two decades and will continue to move Nye County into a bright future!
